Overview
Our Collections & Foreclosures Practice Group represents creditors in the efficient enforcement of debts and protection of collateral. We counsel financial institutions, lenders, servicers, businesses, and other creditors in all aspects of commercial and consumer collections, with a focus on achieving timely, cost-effective recoveries while navigating complex statutory and regulatory requirements.
The group handles the full lifecycle of collection matters, from pre-suit strategy and demand through litigation, judgment enforcement, and post-judgment remedies. Our experience includes prosecuting collection actions, enforcing judgments, pursuing garnishments, levies, and liens, and advising clients on compliance with applicable state and federal laws governing debt collection.
Our foreclosure practice encompasses both judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, representing mortgagees and lienholders in the enforcement of real property security interests. We regularly assist clients with loan defaults, foreclosure proceedings, loss mitigation issues, title matters, and post-foreclosure actions, including eviction and deficiency recovery where permitted by law.
With a practical, results-driven approach, our attorneys work closely with clients to develop strategies tailored to their objectives, balancing aggressive advocacy with careful attention to risk management and regulatory compliance. Whether handling high-volume matters or complex, contested proceedings, we are committed to protecting our clients’ rights and maximizing recoveries.
