Our Bankruptcy Practice Group represents creditors in complex insolvency, restructuring, and workout matters, providing strategic and practical counsel designed to protect and maximize recoveries. We advise secured and unsecured creditors, lenders, landlords, trade creditors, committees, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy cases and distressed situations across a wide range of industries.
The group has extensive experience representing creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 proceedings, as well as in out-of-court restructurings, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. We regularly handle matters involving claim analysis and objection, relief from the automatic stay, adequate protection, plan negotiation and confirmation, preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, asset sales, and enforcement of creditors’ rights under the Bankruptcy Code and applicable state law.
