Overview

Our Employment Litigation Practice Group represents employers in a broad range of workplace disputes, providing strategic, practical counsel aimed at protecting business operations and minimizing risk. We advise employers of all sizes—from closely held businesses to large organizations—across diverse industries, in matters involving federal, state, and local employment laws.

The group has extensive experience defending employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, restrictive covenants, and trade secret disputes. We regularly represent clients before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration forums, including matters brought under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FLSA, and analogous state statutes.

In addition to litigation, we counsel employers on proactive risk management, including employee classification issues, workplace policies, internal investigations, and compliance strategies designed to reduce exposure and avoid disputes. When litigation arises, our attorneys take a disciplined, business-minded approach—assessing risk early, developing efficient defense strategies, and pursuing resolution through motion practice, negotiation, or trial as appropriate.

We work closely with management and in-house counsel to ensure legal strategies align with business objectives, delivering clear guidance and effective advocacy at every stage of the dispute.
