Overview

Workplace issues rarely occur in isolation. A hiring decision, disciplinary action, internal complaint, wage issue, or termination can quickly create operational, reputational, and legal consequences. Our Labor and Employment Department helps employers address those challenges with practical advice, clear risk assessment, and effective representation.

We advise clients on the full employment cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to workplace policies, employee relations, investigations, discipline, leaves of absence, accommodations, reductions in force, severance, and separation agreements. The Department also assists with wage and hour compliance, employment contracts, confidentiality obligations, restrictive covenants, discrimination and retaliation matters, harassment claims, and labor relations.

When disputes arise, we represent employers before courts, administrative agencies, arbitration panels, and mediation forums in matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, contract disputes, and other employment-related controversies.

Our approach is preventive, responsive, and business-minded. We help clients build compliant workplace practices, make informed personnel decisions, and resolve employment matters in a manner that protects both their legal position and their day-to-day operations.
