Overview

Ms. Torres-Ortiz joined Delgado & Fernández, LLC in 2024 as a Summer Associate and subsequently, as a Law Clerk in the Litigation Department, providing support in discovery, trial preparation, legal research and drafting motions for cases before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Ms. Torres-Ortiz served as Associate Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review and was Vice-President of Class 2025.

As part of her legal education, Ms. Torres-Ortiz practiced in the Special Education Rights section of the Legal Assistance Clinic. She was one of the student speakers at the annual Special Education Congress where she co-led workshops and efficiently equipped parents, attorneys, educators, and other professionals with practical legal tools.

Prior to joining Delgado & Fernández, LLC, Ms. Torres-Ortiz worked as a legal consultant at one of the biggest telecommunications service providers in Puerto Rico, focusing on government affairs. In that role, she assisted with legal and regulatory matters, offering support on public policy, compliance, and interactions with government agencies.
