Overview

Mr. Torres-Ortiz joined Delgado & Fernández, LLC in 2024 as an Associate in the Litigation Department, providing support in the investigation, drafting, and representation of clients in legal commercial matters.  Prior to joining Delgado & Fernández, LLC, Mr. Torres-Ortiz worked for over eight years as a Senior Accountant and Accounting Analyst, mostly in the banking industry. Mr. Torres-Ortiz has an extensive background in financial accounting, liquidity and securities performance analysis, internal audit procedures and quality reviews.   Furthermore, Mr. Torres-Ortiz is highly experienced in compliance with regulation standard issues regarding banking entities.  As a law student, Mr. Torres-Ortiz participated in the Legal Assistance Clinic in the Court of First Instance of San Juan where he acquired practical experience providing legal aid services to underrepresented individuals.
