Overview
Alfredo J. Fernández-Torres’ practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining Delgado & Fernández, Alfredo spent three years practicing law at a leading New York litigation firm, where he represented clients throughout all stages of litigation in state and federal courts. During that time, he was notably part of a civil trial team in a multimillion dollar “bet the company” negligent hiring case that resulted in a favorable outcome for the client. His experience also includes white collar criminal defense, high-profile civil rights litigation, and civil RICO and intentional torts defense. Alfredo has significant legal research and writing experience, successfully supporting complex motion practice, depositions, and oral arguments.
During law school, Alfredo served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Daniel R. Domínguez of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. Alfredo was also an Associate Editor of the Fordham University School of Law Moot Court Board, and a Member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
