Mr. Baralt-Suárez joined Delgado Fernández, LLC in 2017 as an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Department. He represents clients in securities regulation, securities arbitration, federal and state court litigation and appeals in the areas of commercial and constitutional law.

Prior to joining Delgado Fernández, LLC, Mr. Baralt-Suárez worked as Chief Legal Counsel and Advisor for Special Projects to Governor Alejandro García Padilla in all matters related to restructuring of debt, and participated as a representative of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico before the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico established under PROMESA, U.S. Congress, and federal agencies.

Mr. Baralt-Suárez served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Juan R. Torruella, Circuit Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and as Senior Law Clerk to the Hon. Federico Hernández Denton, Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, and worked in the Litigation Department of O’Neill & Borges, LLC. Mr. Baralt-Suárez taught Federal Civil Litigation and Motion Practice as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Law of the University of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Baralt-Suárez was Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review and Founding Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Business Law Journal.

Mr. Baralt-Suárez is also a Notary Public.

Mr. Baralt-Suárez is fluent in both English and Spanish.
